The X200’s sturdy framework is reinforced with marine grade aluminium, formed to a hard wearing extrusion up to 8 millimetres in thickness. The centre pole measures to 100x100mm in profile size and is top adjoined by a robust system of aluminium ribbing; this oversized 20x40mm cross section braces the 6 metre canopy span. The 100 series are perfectly suited for permanent and semi-permanent applications. They can be bolted to the ground or mounted on Flare Shade’s 1.2×1.2 metre 90kg steel base plate and further secured by concrete blocks or commercial heavy duty steel stakes. With these additional base components the X200 can be reliably installed on soft, flat ground for temporary use at festivals and events. The X200 6x6 commercial grade umbrella weighs a total amount of 170 kg, canopy and frame together. When opened fully the umbrella peaks at a height of 4.35 metres at the tip of ferrule and features a clearance height beneath the canopy of 3.25m at its lowest point. The five year warranty period covers any manufacturing defects or defaults.The canopy is manufactured from imported Spanish Recasens or Italian Para Tempotest fabric. Both of these materials are crafted from high end acrylic fibre and feature superior long life and fade resistant properties. Para-Tempotest has been made in Italy since 1921 by a third generation company. Recasens was established in Barcelona, Spain in 1886. This reputable and family-run business manufactures technically advanced outdoor textiles that are uniquely specified for the umbrella industry. Both acrylic choices come with a 5 year fade resistance warranty covering any untimely degradation of the colour vibrancy.
